Why We Formed a Relay For Life Fundraising Team

Hi!  Team Suzi's Promoplans is captained by Scott & Suzi Youngberg. Welcome to our team page! Cancer has touched Scott & Suzi directly, and many of us in some way, so we decided to fight back and raise funds to support the American Cancer Society by walking in the Upper Keys Relay For Life event April 23, 2016.

Many people don't realize that in addition to searching for a cure, the ACS also helps cancer patients directly with lodging, travel and more. Scott and Suzi directly benefited from programs like the Hope Lodge. It made all the difference in being able to go to Boston for Scott's treatment and saving his life.  The Hope Lodge provides FREE lodging to cancer patients who must travel for treatment!

At our Relay event, we will take turns walking around the track to raise money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society in their lifesaving mission.  We'll also have fun!  There will be music and we'll come up with lots of fun money raising activities between now and April.

Between now and then, we will also be raising as much money as possible by asking for donations from our friends and family, and recruiting participants to join our team.

As a team, we are taking action to help eliminate cancer as a major health problem, and to help ease the financial burden of cancer patients in treatment.  We need your help!
